DESCRIPTION

The J&H Lump Breaker is a compact machine, designed with short teeth in hardened tool steel mounted on a rotating drum that passes through an abrasion resistant (AR) comb system.

Its purpose is to break lumps up to 400mm in diameter to 25mm or less in order to prepare the material for transport or screening while using minimal energy. Its capacity is up to 800 tph for one rotor or 1500 tph for twin rotor units.

The J&H Lump Breaker is designed as a module that can be added to any feed point of conveyors, elevators, unloading points for drying. Constructed with a unique rotor design, allows only a few teeth to contact at the same time, this requires minimal amounts of energy. Easy to maintain machinery thanks to the “split housing” design, so all components are accessible without the need to disassemble adjacent equipment. A self-energized button is coupled to the shaft in order to cut the motor if the rotor is locked or in reduced motion.
