DESCRIPTION
The Polymer Mixer produced by Cinética Sistemas is a polymer solution mixer, with specification of 99% water and 1% polymer, fully automated, in other words, it does not need human interference to carry out the process, except for the supply of polymer.
The mixer is made up of three tanks: a polymer tank with a capacity of 100 L; of storage with a capacity of 2500 L; mixing capacity with a capacity of 400 L. All tanks are made of corrosion resistant material, stainless steel. The automation process is performed by PLC, thus making the intervention of operators unnecessary for the continuation of production.
The process carried out follows this sequence: the mixing tank is first filled with water, in the correct amount. Then the mixing motor is activated and soon after the polymer dosage begins to be carried out. As soon as the dosage is finished, the system will keep mixing until the mixture is homogenized, eliminating the formed lumps. Finally, the solution is transferred to the storage tank. Due to sensors contained in the machinery, as soon as a batch is finished another is started, except when the storage tank sensor indicates that it is full. In this case, production is resumed when the sensor indicates the minimum level. The table, available in the images, indicates the production of the mixer compared to consumption in the storage tank. It is clear that for low and medium consumption, the machinery produces more solution than is consumed and at high consumption the production is equal to the consumption, thus showing the high efficiency of the Polymer Mixer from Cinética Sistemas.
