AS-02T Automatic Sampler

The AS-02T Automatic Sampler is a device designed to provide optimal results when sampling granular solid particles, such as NPK from mixers. It can be installed in the hopper of a big-bag scale and is modeled after the Manual Sampler referenced in MAPA Normative Instruction 53.

The AS-02T is driven by pneumatic valves controlled by a micro PLC, allowing for numerous sampling configurations, whether in terms of volume and/or number of samples. This equipment is specifically designed to operate in the harsh environments of chemical plants and to remain online for as long as possible. To this end, it is constructed of 316L stainless steel, with both inner and outer tubes. The inner tube (the rotating part) does not come into contact with the material in the hopper/silo, ensuring that the equipment does not degrade the material and cause erroneous samples. Furthermore, its geometry and design are engineered to prevent the natural segregation that occurs inside the silo or hopper where it is installed from affecting the sampling, as the Sampler covers various regions of the container.

Maintenance is quick and easy because there are no screws to remove or clean the inner tube. Everything is done using quick-release connectors and pins. In addition, special tools for cleaning and maintenance are available.

The collected material is transported pneumatically to the external container where the samples are collected, so that they can be removed and taken to the laboratory for analysis.
The AS-02T has been tested and validated in NPK blending units in both chemical and physical analyses.
