DESCRIPTION
The J&H Flow Splitter is designed to split feed evenly into multiple outlets, with a capacity of 50 to 800 tph for more dry and loose material. The divider is usually located above the plant, just below the elevators or conveyor feeders. The inlet flange of each divider is designed to be the full width of the outlet flanges to take advantage of the naturally consistent good distribution of material at that point. Constructed with two, three, …, up to six outlet flanges, the advantage of the J&H divider is to automatically divide the material flow into the other processes at a given point in the plant, instead of using two or three-pass cascade dividers to achieve the same result. This increases consistency, reduces maintenance, simplifies plant control and minimizes plant height requirements. The J&H Splitter is different from the Multi-Outlet Rotary Valve in that the valve only provides flow at one discharge point at a time, and it can be operated in such a way that it can disproportionately divide material into different processes using storage funnels.
The J&H material divider is designed to meet the requirements of today's production, built in a robust carbon or stainless steel housing, with optional AR400 (abrasion resistant) liners in impact zones. They are then case coated with a durable material. The inner blades are made of stainless steel. All dividers are constructed with wide access doors for easy cleaning and maintenance of internal components.
Dividers can be shipped with local manual control panel according to valve requirements, actuator type and customer specifications.
